Answer:- It is believed that Kodavu people are of Greek or Arabic
origin/descent(উপৰিপুৰষ/বংশধৰ). It is said that a part of
Alexander’s army men moved to south and settled there. They could not return
from there for some reasons. So, these people married the local’s people and
accepted the culture, their costume, martial practices and marriage rituals etc.
These points are to the fact that they are from Greek origin.
